In Russia, the New Year holiday trumps even Christmas in importance, and major celebrations take place all over the country in recognition of the day....(http://goeasteurope.about.com/od/russianculture/a/russiannewyeark.htm)

This holiday is especially memorable for the children as many performances are prepared with them in mind.

This type of event will be hosted by the Ballroom Dream together with the Music and Art School of
Cultural Center. There will be many performances by the kids who will be dancing and singing to celebrate this event and welcome the New Year!  Even "Ded Moroz" (Santa Clause) will be there to bring gifts for the kiddies.

(If you would like Santa to present your child a present please let us know ahead of time)

Sunday, January 13th - 12:30pm
Snacks and refreshments will be served.

Russians welcome the New Year by saying “S Novim Godom!” (С Новым годом!)
